Batteries

Batteries for hearing aids are "Zinc-air" which requires that you remove a tab which activates the battery for use.  There are four sizes of hearing aid batteries and each has its own color code on the battery package. Which battery size you should use is stated in the hearing aid’s instructions for use.

Typically, a battery will keep a hearing aid powered for three to seven days before it needs replacing, depending on usage and the hearing aid style.
